For our Client, a well renowned company from the outdoor sales sector, we are looking for a Relief Merchandiser for multiple locations within the United Kingdom.

Job description

Working on this position, the candidate will perform such duties as:

• Meeting with clients and consumers while dealing with reported issues while
refilling stocks,
• Displaying promotional material on machines,
• Maintaining appropriate stock levels in individual machines/vehicle,
• Reporting machines that have low revenue and suggesting relocation, if
needed,
• Cleaning and servicing machines to a high standard,
• Reporting incidents or faults immediately to technical contact centre,
• Completing hygiene procedures for hot beverage machines on your route
when required,
• Consulting with Field Service Engineers on maintenance repair and effective
operation of all machines,
• Keeping cash and stock securely. Uplift cash from machines on a weekly basis
in line with route planner,
• Transferring to a trunking point or depot following company procedures,
• Driving any company vehicle from site to site, ensuring that products,
equipment and cash are stored correct.,
• Completing administration procedures and submit weekly information as
instructed,
• To be prepared to cover any route within the Region as reasonably requested
by the management team.

Requirements

• Analytical, Organizational and Decision making skills,
• Ability to communicate fluently in English,
• Multi-tasking abilities,
• Customer Care experience,
• High Communication Skills in English,
• Ability to lift and carry goods safely,
• Able to use basic IT equipment,
• Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent with no more than 6 points for at least
12 months,
• Previous vending or retail experience desirable,
• Previous responsibility for stock and cash management control desirable,
• Employment is subject to a successful 13 week probationary period,
• Previous recruitment record (reference),
• "DBS/CRB" check (criminal record check).

Offer

• Long term regular contract,
• Statutory annual holiday of 20 days + 8 bank holidays,
• Average of 40h per week 5 days a week,
• The hour pay ranges between £8,29 – £8,65 based on experience,
• Company van or car.
