How We Operate

Recruitment

Central European Staffing (CES) recruits workers not only in the UK but also from Poland, Romania and other Central and Eastern European countries.

All the foreign workers come from abroad to the UK for a particular assignment and therefore we do not normally provide temporary workers for very short periods, for example, one or two weeks.

If needed, we recruit using non-standard methods, including head-hunting. We are able to provide our clients with existing teams currently working together.

In most cases, the period between the Client's order and the start of assignment is not longer than three to four weeks and is often shorter.

Costs

The cost of the worker reflects their remuneration, increased by our margin, which is, generally, form 8 percent of the total cost.

Forms of Payment

  • Agency - finder’s fee: The Client pays a one off payment to CES. The employee(s) are on a three month probation period. During that time, if the Client is not satisfied with the worker(s), CES will provide a pro rata refund of the fee, based on the time worked. In the first two weeks a 100% refund applies.
  • Agency - weekly/monthly fee: Similar to Option One, in that CES sources the appropriate candidate(s) who then become an employee of the Client. The Client pays a weekly or monthly commission to CES based on the employees’ wages.
  • Employment Business: All the candidate(s) are employed by CES and are posted to work for the Client. By using this option the Client avoids the overheads in operating a payroll and making NI and PAYE payments. All these responsibilities are taken on by CES who periodically submit an invoice for the labour provided.
