CES projects in Africa – Tanzania

Dar Es Salaam: Central European Staffing (CES) recently supplied a Chief Financial Officer to a firm in Tanzania.

Tanzania is an attractive destination for specialists in industry and for qualified managers in the financial sector. The successful candidate is now enjoying an attractive employment package including a comfortable private apartment, a personal driver and private medical care.

The exotic East African country is home to Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa.
It is bordered by Kenya and Uganda to the North, by Rwanda, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west and by Zambia, Malawi, and Mozambique to the south. The Indian Ocean lies to the east.

CES and its local partner, Syscorp, founded an excellent professional relationship.

Syscorp, a consulting company based in Dar es Salaam, is a leading provider of business services in East Africa.

Tanzania is the second largest economy in East Africa and the twelfth largest in Africa. Whilst agriculture employs half the population, industry and construction are growing steadily. Tanzania, despite a high rate of poverty, maintains a relatively secure and politically stable environment without the ethnic divisions that trouble neighboring regions.

Successful liberalisation from a command to a market economy over the last 25 years, backed by both the World Bank and the IMF, along with pro-business legislation, has continually improved relations between government and the private sector.

Working with our Tanzanian partner was an enjoyable experience. At each stage of the recruitment process our candidates were well-briefed and provided with comprehensive information. Syscorp was exceptionally even-handed in negotiations with candidates and with CES.

We at CES wish all the best to our client and to the successful CFO candidate.

Moreover, we are looking forward to a promising future in Tanzania and other African nations.
